Job Description
We’re looking for a detail-driven, precision-obsessed drafter / designer to bring complex ideas to life. In this role, you’ll transform engineering concepts, shop-floor needs, and improvement ideas into clear, accurate drawings that support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Drafting: Create detailed drawings for washing equipment and parts. Includes ERP item creation and bills of material.
- Innovation: Collaborate with the team to generate ideas for new product designs and improvements to existing ones.
- Update and Maintain Drawings: Work closely with production teams to ensure drawings are clear, precise, and meet production needs
- Timeliness: Ensure drawings and bills of material are completed on schedule and align with Superior's drafting standards.
- Quality: Ensure drawings have appropriate quality controls including GD&T requirements as needed.
- Ability to know and understand Superior's engineering standards
- Ability to quickly learn Inventor, Vault and JD Edwards ERP software
- Knowledge of general drafting standards and geometric tolerancing.
- Ability to work closely with other team members in a mutually beneficial manner.
