Duties

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
• Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and other routes following aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams during diagnostic evaluations like laboratory testing to develop effective treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as medication administration, nutrition, discharge planning, and post-acute care strategies to promote recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing; current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform complex procedures including venipuncture, phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, ostomy care, and infection control practices.
