Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure residents’ health status is maintained
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed guidelines and document all medication activities within electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
- Support residents with memory care needs by implementing personalized care plans for dementia and Alzheimer’s care, utilizing behavior management techniques to promote comfort and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist residents during meal times to foster independence and social engagement
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties in resident rooms and common areas in accordance with health standards
- Collaborate with team members, social workers, nurses, and families to coordinate care plans that enhance residents’ quality of life
- Support residents’ emotional well-being through engaging activities, social interactions, and compassionate communication
- Assist with transportation or driving when required for appointments or outings in compliance with safety protocols
