HRIS & Payroll Manager
St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid)
We’re looking for a hands-on HRIS & Payroll Manager to join our team and play a key role in owning HR systems and supporting payroll operations across a multi-entity environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a systems-focused position, enjoys improving processes, and has a strong foundation in payroll, HRIS, and compliance.
About the Role
- Lead HRIS operations, including system configuration, optimization, and integrations (ADP Workforce Now)
- Serve as the primary administrator for HR systems (HRIS, timekeeping, reporting)
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across 13 payrolls and 5 EINs
- Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and IT to improve workflows and data integrity
- Support payroll accounting, including GL, reconciliations, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with multi-state payroll tax regulations and SOX controls
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements
What We’re Looking For
- 7 years of experience in payroll and/or HRIS in a multi-state, multi-entity environment
- Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll systems)
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing and system administration
- Solid understanding of payroll tax compliance and multi-state regulations
- Experience with payroll accounting (journal entries, reconciliations, month-end)
- Proven ability to improve systems, reporting, and processes
- Experience providing team oversight or mentorship (1 direct report)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (Accounting preferred)
- CPP preferred
