At Superior Granite, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily operations at our fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes and mechanical/electrical knowledge. This role requires effective leadership skills to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. We are looking for a "do what it takes" work ethic approach.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the production team in a factory setting.
- Oversee fabrication processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to high quality standards.
- Implement processes for better efficiencies and workflow.
- Evaluate manufacturing problems when they occur and make sure they are addressed immediately such that repeat problems are minimized.
- Train, mentor, hire, fire, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with office sales staff to resolve any paperwork questions.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment. CAD experience is a huge plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing production schedules.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments.
Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
