Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hard Surface Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various hard surfaces such as flooring, tile, and countertops, along with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Install flooring, tile, countertops, and other hard surfaces according to project specifications and blueprints
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure precise installation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Perform demolition, surface preparation, and finishing tasks as needed for seamless integration of new surfaces
- Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate work efforts
- Conduct inspections to ensure installations meet quality standards and adhere to safety regulations
- Assist with fabrication and customization of materials to fit specific project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work site throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hard surface installation such as flooring, tile laying
- Familiarity with construction management practices and inspection procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and perform installation safely
- Knowledge of caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and other related skills preferred
- Construction site experience including remodeling or renovation projects highly desirable
