Role Description
We’re looking for a motivated Sales Specialist for a full-time, on-site role based in St. Peters, MO. This position involves engaging potential customers, qualifying leads, and guiding homeowners and businesses through their fencing options.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-person consultations and presenting product options.
- Preparing accurate project quotes.
- Following up on inquiries and managing the sales pipeline from initial contact through closing.
- Working leads received through our marketing efforts and our contracts with The Home Depot and Lowe’s.
- Collaborating with installation and operations teams to ensure accurate project details and a seamless customer experience.
- Maintaining product knowledge and contributing to improvements in our sales process.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to build trust with customers and coworkers.
- A customer-first approach focused on responsiveness, professionalism, and problem-solving.
- Sales skills in lead qualification, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing.
- A goal-oriented mindset and accountability for follow-up and sales performance.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Field sales, retail sales, construction, or home improvement experience preferred.
- A willingness to participate in ongoing training and apply sales best practices.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally to customer sites.
- Availability to work full-time from our St. Peters location and at customer properties.
