Operations Manager
Construction Operations | Field Leadership
Superior Fence & Rail – Hartford
Base Salary: $80,000 – $100,000

Why This Role Exists
Superior Fence & Rail of Hartford is growing quickly and needs a hands-on operator to run daily execution. This role exists to bring discipline, structure, and accountability to field operations so installs run clean, crews are prepared, and customers are taken care of.
This is not an administrative coordinator role.
This is not a sit-behind-the-desk position.
This is a field-connected leadership role with real authority over people, schedules, materials, and results.
Role Summary
As Operations Mangerr, you will own day-to-day operations across production, installation, scheduling, warehouse readiness, subcontractors, and customer experience.
You will translate sales into executed work—on time, on budget, and to standard.
What You Will Own
- Day-to-day operational leadership of a high-volume construction / fencing operation
- Installation scheduling, job sequencing, and production flow
- Review of project scope for accuracy (BOMs, layouts, site conditions, permits, customer expectations)

- Handling customer escalations professionally and decisively
If something breaks operationally, you own fixing it.
What Success Looks Like
- Crews leave the yard fully staged with the right materials
- Install schedules hold with minimal reschedules
- Subcontractors understand expectations and meet them
