Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise fence installation crews, assigning tasks and ensuring timely completion of projects
- Oversee all phases of fencing projects from site preparation to final inspection
- Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various fencing materials including wood, vinyl, chain link, or ornamental fences
- Manage construction site logistics such as material delivery, storage, and safety compliance
- Perform concrete forming and finishing for fence posts or related structures as needed
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure fences are durable, level, and aesthetically aligned with client specifications
- Maintain detailed project documentation including work logs, safety reports, and progress updates
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle
Skills
- Strong background in construction with hands-on experience in carpentry and frame carpentry techniques
- Proficiency in welding and concrete finishing to enhance fence stability and durability
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, masonry equipment, and landscape maintenance tools
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Familiarity with hardscape installation including masonry work for posts or retaining features
- Excellent leadership skills to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards
