The Warehouse Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of warehouse operations. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
- Collaborate with logistics and transportation teams to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
- Assign dock doors to carriers and ensure efficient traffic flow in the loading/unloading areas
- Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff to minimize wait times.
- Document inbound/outbound shipments by capturing information and verifying shipment conditions upon arrival and departure.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Identify process improvements and support implementation of best practices.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- May require occasional overtime or weekend work depending on operational needs.
