POSITION OVERVIEW
The receiving Supervisor is responsible for the management of incoming shipments and merchandise in the warehouse. This position manages the receiving staff and the operations of the receiving department. This position also oversees accuracy of receiving records, proposes corrective actions, and ensures staff adheres to quality assurance policies.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages staff by assigning duties, training, and resolving disputes
Manages receiving operations ensuring accuracy
Oversees shipping records and inventory of stock
Enforces quality assurance and safety practices and policies
Mediates communication between employees and management
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience Requirements
Three (3) years of related experience and /or training
Licenses and/or Certifications Required
