Position Summary
The primary function of the Field Supervisor is to coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity levels and proper inventory levels are maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understands Customers (Honda, Toyota, Special Customers) specific requirements.
- Knowledge of all production line requirements and goals (i.e., Disassembly, Warranty, Destroy, Metals, Plastic, etc.).
- Clear understanding of the operations of equipment (Balers, Forklifts, Compactor) and daily schedule of Incoming/Outgoing product.
- Maintains the warehouse in an organized and clean manner.
- Understand and follow proper LPS protocols and the LPS system as a whole.
- Have LPSA conversations.
- Support EHS and compliance requirements.
- Working outside as needed with exposure to varying temperatures (site specific
- Understand and support WMS reporting (billing, labor, inventory, equipment, etc.).
- Support continual improvement / operations efficiency.
- Manage direct reports:
- Ensure staff adheres to all safety and PPE regulations.
- Monitors breaktimes to ensure they are timely.
- Ensures staff are properly trained on equipment before operating.
- Trains and coaches staff to meet performance goals, documents performance challenges accordingly and addresses with Manager.
- Assigns staff daily work to maximize personnel/production efficiency and ensure the appropriate staff count is maintained.
- Plans and coordinates daily Team/Staff meetings.
- Inventory counts for crate & cage repair.
- Provide feedback to Division Support Representative.
- Ensure products are separated in accordance with customer specifications.
- Maintains open lines of communication with peers and upper management.
- Assist staff with any questions or concerns.
Experience and Education
Required
- Computer, Excel, Word knowledge.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
- Team player.
- Motivated by results.

- Can be flexible and adaptable in a complex, changing environment.
- Excellent organizational skills to be able to complete various forms, records, and reports.
- Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
- Attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products and keeping detailed records.
Preferred
- Forklift experience
Job Demands and Work Environment
- Frequent walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting and moving of equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic; must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut resistant gloves/sleeves, retractable box cutters, will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment.
- Must be able to work full-time.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment.
- Work Hours: Mon-Fri. 6am-2:30pm. OT required on an as needed basis.
- Employee is regularly required to talk and hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- Be able to move from one location to another in the same day if needed.
