POSITION SUMMARY
As the Environmental Health, Safety, and Compliance Representative, you will collaborate with Branch Managers, Team Members, the Safety Team, and the Executive Team to ensure the company meets all safety and environmental compliance requirements and goals. You will oversee safety performance across environmental services projects, maintain regulatory compliance with EPA, ATF, and other federal and state agencies, provide technical guidance, lead safety investigations, and serve as a role model for safe work practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct in-house training programs for ADP, compliance calendar requirements, and new hires.
• Implement and support (LPS) trainings in collaboration with the Core Team.
• Deliver safety training and ensure ongoing staff development.
• Review and communicate findings from the LPS dashboard with Branch Managers.
• Stay up to date with OSHA and General Industry Safety Regulations.
• Conduct regular field audits at customer sites to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular environmental audits to ensure compliance with various permit and reporting requirements.
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment for readiness and compliance.
• Conduct incident investigations and document findings.
• Oversee HAZWOPER training certifications and recertification processes.
• Manage the division’s medical surveillance program requirements.
• Identify, research, and implement safety and compliance solutions for on-site challenges.
• Provide technical guidance on safety equipment and safety and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with vendors for safety supplies and manage inventory cost-effectively.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in health and safety compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote safety initiatives.
Preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or a related field
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.

JOB DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Regular travel to Ohio sites (approximately one full day per location per week).
• Responsible for Environmental Services (ES) operations across all sites in multiple states.
• Ability to navigate manufacturing sites including stairs, catwalks, and tank ladders.
• Exposure to hazardous environments may require use of a respirator.
• Must comply with company Drug and Alcohol testing requirements.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, bending.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations in the field and provide guidance on response activities.
