The Regional Manager’s overall accountability is to ensure the safety of our employees, customer responsiveness, and customer satisfaction; achieved by providing high quality industrial cleaning service focused on safety and our customer’s needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Act as a safety and environmental champion, lead by example, participate in health, safety and environment activities and arrange the correction of unsafe conditions and facilitate coaching/training of subordinates to change unsafe behaviors.
- Lead, innovate, coach and mentor with overall responsibility for the profitability, growth, and management of multiple Branches/Sites in a given region.
- Standardize and maintain operational processes, policies, and practices to achieve company’s goals and ensure designated branches adhere to company-wide rules and guidelines.
- Work with management in order to develop and implement new plans/ideas that will enhance the operations of the company at large.
- Analyze key financial data, oversee budget and authorize expenditures of assigned region.
- Develop annual business, maintenance, and service goals, and strategies to meet them.
- Drive change with a focus on safety (goal of zero accidents) and continual improvement.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed for safe and efficient execution of all services in compliance with SES and regulatory safety and environmental guidelines.
- Resolve customer complaints, service problems and receivable collections in a timely manner while maintaining/improving customer satisfaction.
- Ensure communications within the region’s branches, other regions, and Corporate is fluid, transparent, and frequent to ensure company-wide objectives are being met.
- Ensure company image is developed and maintained favorably with customers and suppliers and employees are complying with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, adherence to all safety rules or best practices, attendance, substance abuse, theft, willful or neglectful damage to company equipment, uniforms and all company rules and regulations.
- Coach, oversee disciplinary actions, evaluate, mentor, and lead trainings for assigned staff.
- Ensure branches are meeting recruitment and retention goals, perform evaluations of direct reports, resolve personnel issues, motivate and train staff to ensure safety, efficiency, continued growth, and professional development.
- Identify areas of opportunity to ensure employees gain knowledge and skills to meet the needs of a changing customer and service line mix.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years in the Environmental and/or Industrial Services industry
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in similar role
- Minimum 5 years of safety and/or compliance
- Action-oriented and results-driven
- Customer focused and employee safety attitude

- Travel required, including overnight stays as needed
