Recruiting Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and manage the full-cycle recruiting process for field, operational, and office positions.
- Schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and operational leadership.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and candidate pre-qualifications.
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) records and recruiting databases.
- Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, applicant flow, retention metrics, and recruiting source effectiveness.
- Coordinate background checks, drug screens, and onboarding documentation.
- Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, trade school partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.
- Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Support workforce planning initiatives with operations leadership.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Prepare and maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and employment regulations.
- Support benefits enrollment and employee documentation processes.
- Assist employees with HR-related questions and administrative support.
- Coordinate employee training records and certification tracking.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Assist with disciplinary documentation and performance management processes as directed by leadership.
- Coordinate travel, lodging, and workforce logistics when required.
- Assist with workforce scheduling and labor coordination efforts.
- Prepare reports related to recruiting, staffing, turnover, and workforce analytics.
- Monitor staffing levels across branches and operational divisions.
- Support labor forecasting and workforce planning initiatives.
- Coordinate communication between field operations, recruiting, and HR departments.
- Assist with implementation of recruiting and onboarding systems.
- Manage office and recruiting administrative tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years of recruiting, HR, administrative, or workforce support experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.
- Experience using ATS, HRIS, or recruiting systems preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Industrial, construction, or field operations recruiting experience preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations.
- Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
- Experience with workforce analytics and reporting systems.
