Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. (SEMP) is a leading provider of skilled trade services throughout California, headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Our Operations team is seeking a Material Handler to process incoming and outgoing HVAC and general construction materials. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in the commercial construction wholesale supply chain or hands-on construction installation experience, along with knowledge of various commercial electrical materials.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and distribute construction materials, tools, equipment, and products
- Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Perform physical labor to load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Perform inventory counts and replenish stock as needed
- Deliver or retrieve materials using company vehicles as required
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and department guidelines
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support departmental operations
- Minimum of two years of experience in a construction environment or with a wholesale supplier
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout the shift
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle background check
- English literacy required for written communication via mobile devices, email, and Microsoft Office
