We are currently seeking a Shop Mechanic to join our team. The Shop Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on a variety of gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, stake-bed trucks, vans, pickup trucks, and construction equipment.

We are currently seeking a Shop Mechanic to join our team. The Shop Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on a variety of gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, stake-bed trucks, vans, pickup trucks, and construction equipment.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil and filter changes, tune-ups, brake and shock replacements
- Perform work from floor creepers, two-post lifts, jack stands or in-ground lifts
- Inspect and diagnose engines, transmissions, and other components using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment and vehicle performance problems
- Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and internal teams to provide updates on repair status and material requirements
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment while strictly adhering to all safety protocols
- Perform test drives of vehicles in compliance with company guidelines
- Assist with additional duties as needed to support departmental operations
- Minimum of 10 years of recent, relevant experience as a shop mechanic
- Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively and prepare clear, professional reports and emails
- Ability to stand, walk, work from floor creepers, bend, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
