We are seeking a skilled Equipment and Scissor Lift Mechanic to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment while ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment and scissor lifts to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various types of equipment, including air compressors, trailers, forklift and passenger vehicles
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issue accurately
- Maintain and communicate detailed records of repair, equipment status and parts needed
- Practice compliance with safety standards and company policies for all repairs
- Work with team members to prioritize repairs and maintenance schedules
- Willingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the department
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a maintenance mechanic
- Relevant education may be substituted for work experience
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle background check
- Proficient in English communication, with the ability to write reports and emails
- Ability to work in accordance with safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company policies
