Apprentice Electrician

Superior Electric is looking for a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our Automated Temperature Controls Division in Fargo, ND!This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into the controls side of the electrical industry — working with building automation systems, HVAC controls, and HVAC integration in commercial facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing and wiring temperature control systems
• Running low-voltage control wiring (18-2, 18-3, shielded, etc.)
• Bending and installing conduit
• Assisting with control panel installations
• Working alongside experienced controls technicians
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and control schematics
• Troubleshooting basic control circuits
• Working on commercial projects in schools, offices, and industrial facilities, etc.

What We’re Looking For

• Enrolled in or willing to enroll in an Electrical Apprenticeship Program
• Paid for by Superior Electric
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Comfortable working with low-voltage wiring and technology
• Valid driver’s license
• Positive attitude and team mindset
• Willingness to Travel (if needed, only gone 3 nights per week- hotels and per-diem are paid)

Controls experience is a plus — but not required. We will train the right person.

Work Experience:
2 years of experience preferred, but not required

Education Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED

License/Certification Qualifications:

ND and MN Apprentice License (within 30 days of employment)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
