Job Overview
Full-Time Audiologist needed at an established, private, ENT, Allergy and Audiology practice in Marquette Michigan. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive hearing and balance assessments, diagnose auditory and vestibular disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patients' quality of life. The Audiologist will work closely with our ENT providers to deliver exceptional care to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, as well as collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patients Audiologic needs are met.

Salary

  • Starting wage of $44-$54 an hour dependent on experience
  • Yearly 20% Retirement Benefit (SEP) employee match NOT required
  • Sign-On/Relocation allowances to be considered

Schedule

  • 4-day work week
  • 1 hour lunch break
  • No holidays
  • 3-day weekends

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations of hearing and balance functions using advanced audiological equipment.
  • Administer hearing tests, otoacoustic emissions and vestibular assessments for both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
  • Educate patients and their families about hearing health, treatment options, and device usage.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Collaborate with otolaryngologists, pediatricians, and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in audiology techniques, medical terminology, and physiology knowledge to ensure best practices.
  • Uphold aseptic techniques during procedures to maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Assist in sales of hearing devices when appropriate, ensuring patients receive suitable solutions for their needs.
  • Participate in community outreach or educational programs to promote hearing health awareness.
  • Possible travel to satellite clinic to provide audiological testing and support to practioners.
  • Troubleshoot hearing aid issues for walk-in patients including pairing to phone and repairs.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and otolaryngology related to audiology.
  • Experience with diagnostic evaluation tools and techniques for both pediatric and adult patients.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage patient appointments, records, and follow-up care efficiently.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to audiology practice.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new technologies including Practice Management, current EHR and/or Audiological software systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients of diverse backgrounds, including pediatrics.
  • Customer service orientation combined with sales skills to recommend appropriate hearing solutions confidently.

Pay: $44.00 - $54.00 per hour
