Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques such as buffing and floor care.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing high-touch areas to promote a healthy environment.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, including deep cleaning of equipment or large spaces.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as floor buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with facilities maintenance tasks or porter duties will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment operation, and safety procedures related to custodial work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
