The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts while ensuring a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to attract top talent, streamline hiring processes, and support new employees through onboarding to set them up for success.

Job Description
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts while ensuring a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to attract top talent, streamline hiring processes, and support new employees through onboarding to set them up for success.
Essential Functions

- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination)
- Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and candidate qualifications
- Screen applications and recommend qualified candidates for consideration
- Coordinate and schedule interviews (phone, virtual, and in-person)
- Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline activity, etc.)
- Maintain and track candidate activity within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday)
- Partner with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into their roles
- Manage onboarding processes for all new hires
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting and onboarding processes
- Respond to candidate inquiries and provide updates on hiring status
- Promote a positive employer brand and candidate experience

Required Education And Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related area
- Ability to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environment
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Extensive experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license before employment.
