Position Summary
Superior Community Resources is seeking reliable, compassionate, and motivated professionals to provide community-based services to families involved with the Indiana Department of Child Services (DCS).
This position serves families across multiple counties, with a strong preference for candidates who reside in or near the service areas.
Service Areas
We provide services in:
- Boone County
- Hamilton County
- Hancock County
- Hendricks County
- Johnson County
- Marion County
- Morgan County
- Staff may be assigned to multiple counties based on client needs and availability.Preference will be given to candidates who live within or near these counties.

Core Responsibilities
- Provide in-home and community-based services to families
- Supervise and facilitate parent-child visits
- Coach parents in real-time using appropriate parenting techniques
- Assist with life skills (routine building, budgeting, home management)
- Connect families to community resources
- Maintain accurate, detailed documentation (same-day submission required)
- Communicate regularly with DCS and case managers
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times
- Ensure child safety is always the top priority
Travel & Availability Requirements (IMPORTANT)
- Must be willing to travel between multiple counties as needed
- Reliable transportation and active auto insurance required
- Must be available for evenings and weekends (this is when most visits occur)
This role is not a traditional 9–5 position.
Minimum Qualifications (DCS-Aligned)✔ Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass all required background checks:
- Criminal history
- CPS (Child Abuse/Neglect Registry)
- Local law enforcement checks
Education & Experience (One Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- OR
- Associate’s degree relevant experience
OR
- High School Diploma/GED significant experience working with at-risk families Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with DCS-involved families
- Strong knowledge of community resources
- Experience with crisis intervention or case management

Work Schedule
- Flexible scheduling based on client needs
- Evenings and weekends required

Pay: $23.29 - $40.05 per hour
