Construction Cleaning Technician

Superior Cleaning Services is looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our cleaning team.

Hours: Full time or Part time 

What You’ll Do:

Position Overview

We are hiring Construction Cleaning Technicians to perform cleaning services at new construction projects, remodeled buildings, and commercial facilities.

This position involves preparing newly constructed or renovated buildings for inspections, occupancy, and final turnover to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rough, final, and touch-up cleaning on new construction and renovation projects.
• Remove construction dust, dirt, debris, and other materials from designated areas.
• Clean floors, walls, baseboards, doors, frames, windows, and interior glass.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and detail-clean various surfaces.
• Clean cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and other finished surfaces.
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Follow site-specific safety procedures and company cleaning standards.
• Work alongside other team members to complete projects within established deadlines.
• Report damaged surfaces, unsafe conditions, and equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain professional conduct while working at customer facilities.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to work on concrete floors and in construction environments.
• Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies safely.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, construction, or labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work at different project locations throughout the Cedar Valley.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends based on project requirements.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Commitment to workplace safety and professional behavior.
• Perform daily cleaning in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust.
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Clean toilets
• Clean sinks 
• Clean mirrors 
• Clean stalls and floors
• Clean and restock locker-rooms 
• Maintain overall cleanliness and safety standards
• Possibility to drive motorized golf carts, tractors or gators
