Duties

• Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications with precision and artistry
• Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client’s style and skin tone
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by following sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations
• Educate clients on proper nail care, maintenance tips, and available treatments to enhance their overall experience
• Engage in client communication to understand preferences, provide personalized recommendations, and upsell retail products like nail polishes or skincare items
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, techniques such as dermabrasion or eyelash extensions, and industry best practices
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment that adheres to all health regulations while delivering top-tier service

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, and nail extensions
• Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and client confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to demonstrate creativity through nail art designs while maintaining high-quality standards
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques and upselling strategies to promote products and services effectively

At this location you will be hired as an independent contractor. This means you set your own prices and hours! You are responsible for all supplies, equipment and furniture needed for your role. We will provide the space for you in exchange for a percentage of collections. This amount is up for negotiation. I have an open room so if you are thinking about it, now is the time!

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
