Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Buff and maintain various types of flooring to ensure they are clean and presentable.
- Conduct custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
- Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as necessary.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is preferred but not required.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Capable of handling physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving items as needed.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
