Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Construction Foreman based in San Diego, CA, with the flexibility for some remote work. The Construction Foreman will oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include managing team members, coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring effective communication among all parties. The Foreman will also manage materials and resources, inspect ongoing work, and provide updates to the project manager as required.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Carpentry and operation of Heavy Equipment in a construction setting
- Experience in Quality Control and maintaining high standards in project execution
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate with teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Foundational knowledge or background in Civil Engineering
- Understanding and commitment to workplace safety standards and regulations
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
- Previous experience in commercial or multifamily construction projects is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in construction management or related fields is a bonus
