This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in construction, estimating, project coordination, or outside sales who is looking to build a long-term career with an established and growing company.

The Commercial Construction Sales & Estimating Representative will assist with developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, conducting site evaluations, preparing estimates, and coordinating proposals for commercial asphalt paving and pavement maintenance projects.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, comfortable communicating with customers, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Previous asphalt industry experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual who has a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and relevant construction or sales experience.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and pursue new commercial construction and pavement maintenance opportunities.
• Develop relationships with property managers, general contractors, facility managers, business owners, and commercial property owners.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and project evaluations.
• Follow up on proposals and assist with securing new projects.
• Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities, customer communications, and project activity.

Estimating & Project Development

• Visit job sites to evaluate existing pavement conditions and determine project requirements.
• Perform field measurements and calculate project quantities.
• Assist in preparing accurate estimates for asphalt paving, milling, patching, sealcoating, crack sealing, and related services.
• Develop professional proposals and clearly communicate project scopes to customers.
• Work with management and operations personnel to ensure accurate pricing, scheduling, and project expectations.
• Assist with project handoffs from sales to operations.

Customer Service & Account Management

• Serve as a professional representative of Superior Asphalt.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Help customers understand recommended pavement improvements and maintenance options.
• Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain consistent communication throughout the estimating and sales process.

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience in construction, estimating, project coordination, outside sales, or a related field.
• Experience in asphalt paving, concrete, excavation, site development, or commercial construction is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction measurements, material quantities, and estimating practices.
• Experience using estimating software, Microsoft Office, or customer management systems.
