Superior Advanced Manufacturing is a precision machining and fabrication company located in Atlantic Mine, Michigan. Alongside our sister company, Superior Fishing Products, we manufacture high-quality products for both industrial and marine markets.

What You'll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC machining centers.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and workholding.
• Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
• Optimize machining processes while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Help develop better methods, fixtures, and workflows that improve efficiency and quality.

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who:

• Has experience operating CNC machining equipment or possesses strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn.
• Enjoys solving problems and finding better ways to do things.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Can read and interpret blueprints or is willing to develop that skill.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Takes pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and personal accountability.

• Haas CNC machining centers
• Brother CNC machining centers
• CAM software
• Fixture design
• GD&T
• Lean Manufacturing
• Continuous Improvement
• Aluminum machining
• Stainless steel machining
• Prototype machining
• Production machining
