Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Fire Equipment Technician with experience in inspecting and servicing pre-engineered suppression systems. This role involves daily travel to customer sites using a company vehicle and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday – Friday, Typically, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM


• Hourly Pay: $25 – $27 (Higher wages for experienced candidates)

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, and test pre-engineered fire suppression systems


• Service and maintain portable fire extinguishers


• Ensure all systems meet applicable safety codes and standards


• Complete accurate service reports and documentation


• Safely operate company vehicle while traveling to job sites daily


• Perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated or awkward positions


• Comfortable working in environments involving grease, dust, and other debris (uniform shirts provided)


• Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs independently


• Team lifting required for items over 75 lbs

Qualifications

• Experience with inspection, service, and repair of pre-engineered suppression systems required


• Tennessee state license preferred, or willingness to obtain


• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (MVR check required)


• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
