As a Retail Specialist and Budtender, you’ll be the face of our brand—providing knowledgeable guidance, outstanding customer service, and ensuring compliance with all state regulations. This role combines retail expertise with cannabis education to create a safe, welcoming environment for every customer

Core Duties –

· Greeting customers warmly, verify identification, and ensure compliance with age and purchase limits.

· Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and guiding customers through product options.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all cannabis products (flower, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, accessories) and state regulations.

· Educate customers on strains, effects, consumption methods, and responsible use—without making health claims.

· Accurately process transactions using POS and state-mandated seed-to-sale tracking systems.

· Handle cash securely and reconcile transactions at shift end.

· Assist with online order fulfillment and confirm accuracy of product details (weight, pricing, RFID tags).

· Weigh, package, and label cannabis products correctly according to compliance standards.

· Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked; perform opening and closing duties.

· Participate in inventory checks, audits, and restocking to maintain compliance and accuracy.

· Follow all company SOPs and local/state/federal regulations regarding safety, sanitation, and security.

· Support team operations by completing additional tasks such as merchandising, cleaning, and reporting low-stock items.

Qualifications –

· Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

· High school diploma or equivalent required; retail or hospitality experience preferred.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy under pressure.

· Basic math and cash-handling skills.

· Familiarity with cannabis products and regulations (training provided).

· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
