Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist 1 at SuperCare Health has the opportunity to improve the lives of patients with chronic care diseases by providing essential respiratory care services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, selecting and instructing on appropriate equipment, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the best possible outcomes.
This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including 24-hour on-call service, seven days a week. We offer a competitive salary, paid training, and opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and select appropriate respiratory equipment and services
- Instruct patients and caregivers on proper use and care of equipment
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide 24-hour on-call service and support continuity of care
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited RT Care Program (licensed RCP)
- Experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Thorough knowledge and skill related to respiratory care field
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- People-sensitive characteristics with a genuine desire to help others
