Senior Business Analyst, Product DevelopmentLocation Glendale, CASchedule Monday through Friday, onsite four days per weekAssignment Length December 15, 2025 through June 14, 2026Position Type Full Time, Non Exempt Payrate: $72.00 - $82.00/hr Position OverviewThe Senior Business Analyst, Product Development plays a key role in supporting enterprise level production technology initiatives. This role partners closely with product leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design, enhance, and support applications and reporting solutions that serve a dynamic production environment. The analyst is expected to understand both current and emerging technologies, maintain a strong command of studio related business processes, and provide expert level guidance on how systems and data can be optimized to meet evolving needs.This position requires a high degree of collaboration, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex business concepts into intuitive system solutions, dashboards, and data visualizations.Key Responsibilities* Partner with business stakeholders and cross functional product teams to gather requirements and design dashboards, dossiers, and other visualizations within MicroStrategy. * Conduct user training, demos, and working sessions to adjust or create reporting solutions that meet ongoing business needs. * For complex analytical requests, collaborate with development teams to define data requirements, calculations, and reporting logic. * Identify and document data sources required for new integrations or reporting initiatives. * Serve as the primary contact for third party reporting platforms, including maintenance, configuration, and vendor relationship management. * Define, groom, and accept user stories in JIRA related to enhancements, new reporting needs, and ongoing maintenance. * Perform administrative duties such as routine user access audits, cloud instance maintenance tasks, and vendor coordination. * Support the Manager, Product Owner in developing the product vision and roadmap. * Define and track KPIs that reflect project objectives, cost justification, and ongoing system performance. * Communicate progress, opportunities, and risks clearly to leadership and stakeholders.Basic Qualifications* Minimum seven years of business analysis experience within a large enterprise. * Five or more years of product ownership experience. * At least three years of hands-on experience with Agile SCRUM methodology. * Three or more years using MicroStrategy, preferably MCE or cloud based. * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. * Ability to present complex ideas in clear, visually meaningful formats. * Experience managing diverse portfolios that include third party apps, internal applications, workflow systems, reporting tools, AI concepts, and mature enterprise platforms. * Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels. * Bachelor's degree required.Preferred Qualifications* Knowledge of studio or production operations. * Financial dashboarding experience. * Ability to build or interpret SQL queries. * Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. * Certified Agile Product Owner credential.Additional Information* Two round interview process. * Resource will support BI architecture and product BI initiatives. * Experience with databases, handling data for visualization, and studio related metric reporting is highly valued. * Familiarity with production lifecycles is preferred. * Strong communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to work effectively with developers, product teams, and production groups.
