Who we are looking for:
A professional with experience at the university level, to fill the position of Admissions Director. A committed individual, willing to work in an inclusive learning community, and to promote the values of academic excellence, integrity, innovation, leadership, and global perspective in our students to expand their capabilities and positively impact them as successful future leaders.
Modality: In person, at our Miami office.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out the university's admission, registration, and enrollment processes in accordance with the Academic Calendar and established procedures.
- Develop and implement recruitment and admissions criteria, policies, and guidelines
- Interview prospective students, evaluate and verify the accuracy of their application information, and documents required for the creation of admission and registration files, and ensure that applicants meet admission requirements and applicable regulations.
- Assist students, parents and guardians and provide them with information about the university's admissions requirements and procedures.
- Provide information to prospects and/or their parents and guardians about each program's career pathways, financial aid applications, and documentation to be submitted to complete the enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate profiles, database records, and records of documentation provided by each applicant throughout the admissions process.
- Prepare admission and enrollment status reports.
- Advise on the design and monitor the implementation of promotional actions aimed at attracting prospective students in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Actively participate in promotional events, educational fairs, on-site visits, virtual and face-to-face activities organized to generate leads.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor in Education or a related field.
- Proven experience as an admissions officer and in education administration.
- Outstanding leadership.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving oriented skills.
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work diligently and multitasking during fast-paced applicant review seasons.
- Ability to keep and maintain accurate records and to meet deadlines.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English). Spanish fluency is a MUST.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity using CRM and LMS systems.
