Tire Salesman Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Tire Salesman to join our team at Super Tires & Wheels. As a Tire Salesman, you will be responsible for assisting customers with selecting the right tires for their vehicles, providing expert product knowledge, and ensuring excellent customer service. Your goal is to drive sales, build relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our tire department.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their tire needs based on vehicle type, driving habits, and budget.
• Provide expert advice on tire selection, including types, brands, and specifications.
• Recommend and upsell tire-related products and services such as tire installation, balancing, and alignment.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including invoicing and payment processing.
• Maintain inventory levels, ensuring the showroom is well-stocked with popular tire brands and sizes.
• Keep up-to-date with new tire products, promotions, and industry trends to provide the best recommendations to customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service by resolving customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding sales, safety, and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in automotive sales is a plus.
• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in tires or automotive products, is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain tire options and technical details in a clear, understandable manner.
• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of tire products, including features, benefits, and specifications, is a plus.
• Basic math skills to accurately handle sales transactions and pricing.
• Ability to lift and move tires as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 per week
