About The Role
As a Welder at Super Steel, you’ll perform high‑quality welds on a variety of projects requiring accuracy, repeatability, and attention to detail. You’ll work with a supportive team in a clean, safety‑focused environment with opportunities to grow your skills.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG, TIG, and Arc Welding — Perform high‑quality welds using multiple techniques
- Blueprint Interpretation — Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Quality Inspection — Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with industry and company standards
- Equipment Maintenance — Maintain welding tools and equipment; perform minor repairs as needed
- Team Collaboration — Work closely with team members to meet production goals
- Safety Compliance — Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Training Support — Assist in training junior welders and apprentices as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent; welding apprenticeship preferred
- Proven welding experience with a strong portfolio
- Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) a plus
- Familiarity with welding tools, machinery, and safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various conditions
