About the Position:
We are looking for an experienced A or B Level Auto Technician to join our busy, well established repair shop. This position combines advanced electrical/diagnostic capability with extensive R&R (remove & replace) work, including heavy lifting of engines, motors, and transmissions.
If you’re the type of technician who can diagnose a CAN bus issue in the morning and pull a drivetrain in the afternoon, you’ll fit right in. Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools
Handle module programming, coding, resets, and calibrations
Conduct R&R of engines, motors, transmissions, and major driveline components
Perform mechanical repairs with precision and efficiency
Document findings, repair recommendations, and completed work
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all Washington L&I safety requirements and shop protocols
Requirements:
3 years of professional automotive repair experience (diagnostic experience preferred)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, drivability, and module programming
Ability to lift 75 lbs and safely perform heavy R&R work
Proficiency with scan tools, scopes, and diagnostic workflows
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
ASE certifications a plus, but not required
