What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations - Head Coach position at Super Soccer Stars?
We are seeking a competent Director of Operations & Head Coach to join our children's soccer and t-ball coaching team. You will collaborate with the Executive Director in coaching, coach hiring, scheduling, coach training, supervising, progress monitoring, and management activities for preschools and schools.
This is a full-time, year-round position—not seasonal or temporary to start middle to the end of July.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coaching: Lead sessions for 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday (mornings and afternoons), including Saturday mornings during the season, for children ages 1-10.
- Recruitment & Training: Interview, hire, and train staff as needed using Workable, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms already set up for Youth Athlete United.
- Scheduling & Administration: Support leadership through administrative duties, scheduling, and customer support. Maintain the master spreadsheet for staff school/schedule assignments. Assign coaches weekly and facilitate the “Swap Meet” for instructors in the Soccer Stars and Little Rookies programs. Serve as the primary point of contact for staff scheduling changes and sub-coordination.
- Site Marketing: Oversee marketing initiatives between seasons.
- Utilize prewritten lesson plans and instructional videos to ensure high-quality coaching, focusing on child development and fun learning experiences.

We are looking for an energetic and fun-loving coach with management and operational skills in the NW Austin and Pflugerville area to lead children ages 1-10 while supervising the coaching team to maintain program quality.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum one year of professional experience working with children ages 1-10 .
- Availability Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) and Saturday mornings (8:30 AM - 11:00 AM). One or two weeknights required for club partnerships and marketing events.
- Resides in the Greater Austin area and can travel easily within Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Spicewood, North, and South Austin.
- Experience in HR and operations management.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and relational databases/software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a nationwide criminal background check.
- Owns reliable transportation with valid insurance (shared/family vehicles, ride-shares, and public transportation not acceptable).
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

- Competitive Salary: $38,400.00 – $45,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
