Location: 3188 Hillcrest Rd Medford, OR
Compensation: Varies based on experiences. $15-18 base PLUS an additional $6-13 per hour in tips. (Room for advancement!)
Schedule: We are hiring for one person currently, with the schedule needed below:
Sunday: 11:00-5:00
EVERY OTHER Saturday: 5:00-9:00 Sunday: 5:00-9:00
Job Overview
We are a fast-growing, locally-owned food truck specializing in high-quality smash burgers and fresh-cut fries. We’re looking for a motivated, energetic, and dependable Food Truck Crew Member to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for great food, and takes pride in excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, take orders, and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently
- Prepare, cook, and assemble food items according to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside the truck and in prep areas
- Set up and break down the food truck at the beginning and end of service
- Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to management
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during service
- Uphold the brand’s image by providing friendly and professional service at all times
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Customer Service: Friendly demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Teamwork: Able to work well with others in a small, fast-paced environment
- Multitasking: Efficient under pressure with strong attention to detail
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying outdoor conditions
- Willingness to follow food safety procedures and cleanliness protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous food truck, restaurant, or food service experience
- Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Interest in food trends, customer experience, or hospitality is a plus!
- Grill and fryer experience
