Overview:

The position is responsible for proficiency in all areas of a retail operation. Duties include providing leadership and direction to store employees, ensuring a positive customer shopping experience and performing operation activities throughout the store.

Schedule: A combination of Day Shifts, Evening Shifts, and Weekends. Some Holidays are required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Store Manager in store operations including, driving sales and profit, customer loyalty, planning prioritization, and delegating of daily tasks.
• Support Store Manager in employee counseling, hiring/staffing decisions, scheduling, employee training and development, and maintaining a productive work environment.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Perform opening/closing procedures.
• Transport and make deposits to the bank.
• Resolve customer complaints/issues and ensure the customer has a positive experience.
• Lead freight movement and inventory control.
• Train employees on the appropriate application of policies and procedures.
• Operate a cash register or computer efficiently.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards and respond to any alarm calls as needed.
• Complete all documentation associate with any of the above job duties.

Requirements:

• Open availability.
• Ability to move and transfer merchandise, weighing pounds or more throughout the store.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
• Store sense of professionalism and work etic.
• Have sharp organization skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
