Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Prepare a variety of food items following established recipes and safety standards, including quick service and fast food offerings
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and providing correct change
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and kitchen surfaces
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards are met at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability in cashiering, cash handling, and retail math
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities
- Experience working in a café, restaurant, grocery store or retail environment involving food industry practices
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality
