Provide legal counsel on corporate transactions, regulatory matters, compliance issues, or litigation strategy based on area of expertise.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and risk assessments on federal, state, and local laws relevant to business operations.
Represent the organization in discussions with external counsel, regulatory agencies, or opposing parties.
Advise internal stakeholders on legal exposure, policy interpretation, and strategic risk management.
Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents that impact the company or clients.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Florida or Washington, DC .
3–6 years of legal experience in one or more of the following areas: corporate law, compliance, regulatory affairs, or litigation.
Strong legal research, writing, and contract negotiation skills.
Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory frameworks at both federal and state levels.
Clear and professional communicator with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
Law firm and/or in-house counsel experience preferred.
