What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Machine Operator position at SUPER-PUFFT SNACKS USA INC?
Duties and responsibilities
• Adhere to all GMP’s, Food Safety requirements and company policies
• Responsible for the efficient operation of the packaging machines ensuring proper weight, splicing of film, sealing and date code of finished product
• Prepare machine for the start of production and make adjustments when necessary to meet the quality standards when packaging different products
• Change rolls of film as needed
• Adjusts scale programs for product flow
• Maintains a clean work area and environment
• Monitors equipment and reports malfunctions to maintenance and management
• Other duties as assigned by line leader / management
Requirements
• Must be 18yrs of age or older
• Must have High School diploma or GED
• Must have at least 1 year of solid work experience, production experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Prior mechanical or machine operating experience
• Troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer skills
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Capable of climbing stairs
• Able to follow instructions
• Must abide by all safety rules
• Must wear proper personal protective equipment
• Stable work experience and good attendance record
• Prior manufacturing experience
