Gas Station Attendant/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. You will engage with customers, assist with fuel transactions, and maintain a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and possess basic retail skills.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with fuel purchases and convenience store items.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restocking shelves and managing inventory.
• Assist in product demonstrations to promote sales of store items.
• Supervise daily operations during shifts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and stock management.
• A proactive approach to supervising tasks and ensuring high standards of service.
