The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. Job Summary
Supermicro Computer, Inc. is looking for a top tier Senior IT Specialist in our headquarters located in San Jose, CA.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
- Review and evaluate new application request
- Support application clustering
- CI/CD of application management automation
- Be an active member of cross-functional project teams to plan and deliver solutions that meet our business need
- Maintain the health of systems including trend analysis for capacity planning, proactive health assessments for performance tuning and recommendations and implementation of best practices
- Open, manage and resolve application issues with external application vendors
- Create and maintain technical documentation for environments, including architecture diagram, installation, and configuration procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and operational procedures
- Find and execute on process improvement opportunities Installs, configures, and maintains application platforms and systems
- Tunes system performance as required
- Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience as application administrator
- Experienced and excellent of Microsoft SharePoint management, migration, and planning. (SP 2016 and above, SP 365)
- Application Clustering experience
- Kubernetes and Docker experience
- CI/CD experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills and should be able to analyze java cores, system dumps, heaps dumps and all logs to determine root cause of issues
- Understanding on network technologies
$75,000 - $90,000
