We are a fast-paced kitchen looking for an experienced
We're seeking a Cookwho knows how to handle the heat and the grease. If you have worked at places like Hook's Fish & Chicken or Snapper's, we want to talk to you. We don't just need someone to cook; we need someone who can manage the line, talk to customers, and keep the tickets moving.
The Job Duties
- The Grill & Fryer:Expertly prepping and cooking Fried Fish, Wings, Shrimp, Philly Cheesesteaks, Burgers, and Sandwiches.
- Ticket Management:Reading and pushing out orders quickly—including walk-ins, phone-ins, and online tickets (UberEats, DoorDash, etc.).
- Order Taking:Stepping up to the counter to take customer orders with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Quality Control:Ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen is hot, fresh, and correctly seasoned.
- Kitchen Care:Keeping the station clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
Requirements
- Experience:Must have previous experience in a fast-casual seafood/wing/sandwich shop.
- Language:Must be able to read, speak, and understand English fluently (essential for reading tickets and customer service).
- Communication:Excellent customer service skills. You are the face of the brand when you are at the counter.
- Efficiency:Ability to multitask and stay calm during "rush" hours.
- Certification:Food Handler or Food Safety Manager Certificate is a big plus.
