Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring exceptional service for both wash-and-fold and self-service customers, and performing key cleaning and organizational tasks. Your efforts will contribute directly to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and launder various types of fabrics, including linens, towels, and uniforms, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
- Operate washing machines and dryers safely and efficiently.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items according to established procedures.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for specific orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Assist customers as needed.
- Able to perform clean up tasks for end of shift before closing the store for the day.
Experience
- Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Customer experience.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Janitorial experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to understand basic math.
- Must be coach-able.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 14 per week
