Butcher/Meat Cutter

Super C Mart is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Butcher/Meat Cutter to join our team in Kingston, OK. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat preparation and cutting, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meat Cutting & Preparation: Accurately cut, trim, debone, and portion various types of meat, including beef, pork, poultry, and seafood, according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor meat inventory levels, ensure proper storage, and maintain a well-stocked display case.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect meat products to ensure quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Customer Service: Provide recommendations, fulfill special orders, and address customer inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Equipment Maintenance: Safely operate, clean, and maintain equipment such as slicers, grinders, and saws.
• Sanitation: Adhere to strict hygiene and cleanliness standards, including proper handling and disposal of waste.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with various meat cuts, safe handling practices, and food safety standards.
• Skills: Strong knife skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow cutting specifications and recipes.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in cold environments.
• Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing high-quality service.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
