Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, providing accurate information and assistance
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information in hotel management systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct night audits as needed, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management
- Promote hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure clear communication at all times
- Assist with guest relations initiatives to foster positive relationships and repeat business
Experience
- Prior experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is preferred
- Bilingual skills (e.g., English and Spanish) are highly advantageous for serving diverse guests
- Knowledge of hotel management software systems is a plus - we train!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and proficiency in multi-line phone systems
