Duties
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously during the night shift
- Manage reservations using hotel management software such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS)
- Conduct nightly audits to reconcile financial transactions, verify billing accuracy, and prepare reports for management review
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and provide personalized guest services to enhance their stay
- Monitor security cameras, perform safety checks, and enforce hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest and staff safety
- Answer multiple-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all overnight activities, incident reports, and shift logs to ensure smooth handovers
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS) is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse guests
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations strategies, and multi-line phone systems is essential
- Previous night audit experience or resort experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette mindset
